We are a team of young, energetic entrepreneurs with a solid engineering background and extensive technological expertise. Our strong commitment lies in providing green and clean energy alternatives to the masses. Within our startup, we are deeply inspired by the latest policies of the Government of India, particularly the vision of ‘Made in India’ for ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ (self-reliant India). Our primary focus is on addressing significant national and societal challenges. In addition to advancing necessary technologies, we have recently developed a unique patented product: a lightweight, compact, and easy-to-carry portable power module (inverter/online UPS) with remarkable attributes.

• Our product is an all-in-one integrated solution (no separation of battery and inverter). It generates green and clean energy without emitting harmful fumes that endanger health and lives. There’s no environmental pollution or adverse effects on climate.
• The design is specifically tailored for high altitude, efficient thermal management, and functioning in low (sub-zero) temperatures, ideal for hilly terrain. It offers improved battery life and durability compared to its commercial counterparts.
• Our product is BIS certified and meets international safety benchmarks on par with IEC standards. It’s cost-effective with a superior cost-performance ratio and comes with a 6-year warranty.
• It’s proudly a Made in India product, from concept to design, fabrication, and manufacturing.
• The creation of this product is solely credited to the well-developed and supportive ecosystem for research and development, innovation, and incubation culture at IIT Patna. The R&D team, consisting of 5 young scientists and engineers, received mentorship from Prof. A. K. Thakur, the current Dean (Academics).

Now, this product is ready for commercialization under the brand “Ligen Power” as part of the new initiative “Amossys Portable Power,” a joint venture between “Amossys Energy” and “Portable Power Technology.” This joint venture has a strong market presence in both African countries and India.
